Sharing work and learnings: toward equitable workforce opportunities

HERE to HERE joined our grantee partners for a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation CIT Panel: “Creating Upward Mobility for Youth: the Strength of Cross-System Partnerships.”
During the event, HERE to HERE and RGV FOCUS shared how we’re each working with partners to understand the functions, strategies, and approaches needed to create equitable workforce opportunities for Black, Latinx, and youth experiencing poverty.
For HERE to HERE’s portion, Abby Jo Sigal (HERE to HERE Founding CEO) and Ikeia Miller (Project Manager on HERE to HERE’s Work-Based Learning Labs team) were joined by Quardear Harris (HERE to HERE CUNY Fellow) and Sunil Gupta (Borough of Manhattan Community College) to share some of our collective work with our Gates grantee partners.
