HERE to HERE joins New America for NYATEP panel on expanding youth work-based learning models

“Forward Together: Fueling New York’s Economic Engine,” was a fall conference hosted by New York Association of Training and Employment Professionals (NYATEP) and New York State Economic Development Council. During the event, HERE to HERE’s Apurva Mehrotra joined New America’s Brent Parton and Mike Prebil for a panel discussion on expanding youth work-based learning models. During the discussion, panel participants insisted on the need for employer partnerships, student voice, and standards of practice such as the Key Distinguishers as critical components toward advancing work-based learning.
