Celebrating a successful first season of virtual summer internships at HERE to HERE

This week we wrapped up our first season of in-house virtual internships. This summer, HERE to HERE, Bronx young people, and the community faced the devastation of Covid-19 and both the challenges and opportunities of pivoting to remote internships. In celebration of a successful summer — in the face of these unprecedented times — HERE to HERE staff joined together on August 14 to learn directly from our interns how they experienced their summer work at HERE to HERE, what they learned, and what they look forward to as the next step in their education and career.
Thank you to all the young people who joined us this summer. During this time and always, HERE to HERE and its staff are committed to supporting young people on their professional journeys, keeping student voice central, and working with our partners to build a better system of youth talent development, in The Bronx and NYC.
