Work-based learning experiences, both on-site and remote, are critical to students on a variety of levels. In this document, HERE to HERE provides preliminary guidelines to intermediaries, community-based providers, employers, and other stakeholders on how to effectively implement virtual internship programs.

Virtual opportunities not only address the immediate needs of young people and employers through Covid-19, but can also serve as a viable future alternative to traditional in-person internships. Understanding the role virtual internships can play in the future, we created a set of best practices to guide work-based learning practice and assessment.
